Responsible Land Use: Protecting Habitat and Native Species
Conference Objective
To promote the sharing of ideas and concepts among diverse groups with the common interest of protecting our coldwater resources.
Conference Summary
The conference will begin on February 24 with a Friday night social. Individuals will have the opportunity to network and visit the exhibitors. The event will include appetizers and a cash bar.
On Saturday, February 25, the program will begin at 8:30 a.m. with our keynote speakers. Twelve breakout sessions will round off the morning and afternoon with topics related to protecting habitat and native species. The presentations will highlight research, case studies, proactive community action, policy and regulations, and targeted outreach and advocacy that have played a part in ensuring environmental protection.
